A Seattle cyclist was injured in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on August 5, according to The Seattle Times. The accident—which occurred around 2 a.m.—is the second hit-and-run with a cyclist in the past two weeks. Police reports identified the victim as a 25-year-old man from Renton, Washington. A witness to the accident claims that he saw the cyclist his by a truck that proceeded to drive away. The witness followed the truck to a fast food drive-through and wrote down the plate number, according to the police report. The victim—whose name was not released—was treating for minor injuries at Harborview Medical Center.
