A Laguna Beach man died in a tragic bicycle accident on November 6, according to the Los Angeles Times. The identity of the victim was not immediately available, but the California Highway Patrol said he was 51 years old. According to reports, the cyclist veered onto the wrong side of a road in Malibu and struck a guardrail before he was thrown over the handlebars. The victim suffered massive head trauma. He was airlifted to UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The road where the accident occurred—Las Flores Canyon Road—is very curvy and popular among cyclists.
