Teenager Killed In Bicycle Accident, Reportedly Not Wearing Helmet

A 17-year-old died in a bicycle accident in Nevada, according to TheSpectrum.com. The accident occurred on Sunset Boulevard in St. George, Nevada. The cyclist crashed at an intersection and struck his head on the pavement. He was airlifted to a Las Vegas hospital.

No other people or vehicles were involved, according to police reports. The name of the victim has not been released. Witnesses say he swerved around pedestrians before crashing into a rock landscaping area on the side of the road. He was not wearing a bicycle helmet.
